McLaren’s Skid Steer Mulcher is as tough as they get. The whole inner liner is made with Hardox 450 for extreme durability, which keeps the frame lasting a long time for many years of use. Also made with Hardox 450 are the depth limiters, which unlike steel is much lighter allowing for faster recovery times. The rotary mulcher also features a torque balancing shaft that connects to the pulley to eliminate angular torque on the pump shaft. The mulching head is secured with SKF spherical bearings that will outlast standard straight bearing found in other competitors’ mulchers. All these great features will ensure you will have a long-lasting durable unit that will meet the needs of the toughest jobs.
McLaren’s Skid Steer Mulcher will be delivered and tuned to your machine’s exact specifications for optimal performance. This will increase drum speed and efficiency with an average recovery time of 2-3 seconds (3-5 second on fully stopped drumhead.) With the option of carbide teeth, mulching knifes or a combination of both (mulching knives in center of drum head to easily cut down standing debris) you can outfit the mulcher to fit your needs.
